     “首届湖北金融节——开幕酒会”将于2008年8月8日在武汉东湖湖畔易斯特大酒店正式启动。本次开幕酒会将纭集省内众多的金融机构以及国内、外资深的金融专家学者，是一次省内金融界的高端峰会。
     本次酒会以“振兴金融，和谐湖北”为宗旨，以“全民创业金融日，和谐发展地球村”为主题，将举行一场“世界金融日”倡议大会，倡议把每年的8月8日定为全世界金融从业者共同的节日——即“世界金融日”。与会嘉宾还将共同完成一个“聚宝盆”祈福仪式。会上还将对外公布首届湖北金融节里所包含的各项节庆活动。如“世界金融日金融高峰论坛”、“世界金融形象大使选拔赛”、“金融希望之星评选大赛”、“金融慈善之夜大型文艺晚会”等一系列节庆活动。

     The 1st open-up party of Hubei financial day is going to be held in East Hotel which is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province in the Aug 8. Leaders from related financial commissions and famous scholars, and senior executives from the Chinese and foreign corporations, and related officials from local authorities are to be invited to the Summit forum.
     The forum is aiming at strengthening the economy of Hubei, constructing and developing the global world.
